Cup Runneth Clover — Let's Make A Home

Sláinte! Pour us a Guinness (or Harp, or Smithwick’s, or all of them!), it’s time for St. Pattys! Celebrate the Patron Saint of Ireland with these playful pints, and make a few for your cairdes while you are at it!

This simple Cricut project uses permanent Shimmer Premium Vinyl™ to customize your plain Jane pints glasses. We suggest you make a few at a time, as your buddies will surely be jealous of your clever clover cup.

OTHER SUPPLIES:
16 oz. Pint Glass
Cotton Ball
Rubbing Alcohol

1) Place a 3”x5” piece of Green Shimmer Vinyl, glitter side up, on your Standard Mat.

2) Upload the file to Design Space, and add to your canvas. Be sure to click “Attach” in your layers menu before you move on to the mat preparation.

3) Click continue and be sure that your Base Material is set to “Premium Vinyl – Shimmer” and your Fine Point Blade is installed. Load your mat and press “Go.”

4) Now weed away the negative space and place a piece of Transfer Paper over the design.

5) Use your scraper to press it down to insure the Transfer Paper has a firm grip on your cut material. Gently pull back the transfer paper and make sure the entire design and all of it’s details have stuck to the transfers material. (If you missed a few elements, lay the Transfer Paper back down and scrape over the stuck pieces until you can safely lift it up with all of the design intact.)

6) Grab your pint glass and a cotton ball that is wet with rubbing alcohol and clean the surface where you intend to place the design. Once dry, apply your design to the glass and use your scraper or fingers to press the design onto the glass.
